Prophetic Times To The End - Daniel - Part 12

End Times Daniel 10 pt. 3

Conflict: holy and unholy angels

Dan. 10:16 Daniel is astonished, he says one with a likeness of sons of man touched his lips; then Daniel opened his mouth and spoke, and said to the angel who was standing before him, Daniel said “O my lord, (like we would address someone today as sir) Daniel as a result of the vision given says my pains have come upon me, (Daniel was experiencing anguish) Daniel stress level is consuming his strength. This is due to understanding of the sufferings his people will have to undergo until the time of retribution is over according to the vision given.

Dan. 10:17 Daniel asks a question of his visitor out of respect to him, Daniel wants to know how he should be able to speak with a servant of God with such high esteem that Daniel sees in him. Daniel says for himself there remains yet no strength in him nor any breath been left in him at present. Daniel was left totally debilitated and gasping for breath out of the understanding of the vision from God about the coming sufferings of his people.

Dan. 10:18 Daniel tells us that the one with likeness of sons of man in appearance touched him again and strengthened him. To meet Daniels need the angel quieted the alarm in Daniels heart, and strengthened him physically and emotionally allowing Daniel to be ready to receive the message yet to come.

Dan. 10:19 the angel said to Daniel, “O man of desirability in the presence of God the Father, Daniel do not be afraid. Peace be with you Daniel; take courage and be courageous!” Daniel said, as soon as the angel spoke to him, he received strength and said, “May my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

Dan. 10:20 The angel said to Daniel, “Do you Daniel understand why I (angel) came to you? Gabriel the angel says he has to return and contend with his satanic counterpart the prince of Persia and he must be ready for the prince of Greece another of Satan’s demons. What Gabriel will have to contend with is about to come on the scene as in the Plan of God the kingdom of Medo-Persia is about to expire and the kingdom of Greece to have dominion. The angel Gabriel told Daniel God’s plan for Israel under Persia and Greece and for on later in the Tribulation and the Millennium. For Daniel was living under the exile in Babylon at present and only need to have the times yet explained.

Dan. 10:21 Gabriel said, “However, I have revealed what is inscribed in the writing of truth to you Daniel. Gabriel tells Daniel that the prince of Daniels people, Michael firmly stands with him against Israel’s enemies until the end of the “times of the gentiles.” Michael, as being your prince Daniel, in this verse tells us that he has a special relationship with the Nation Israel under God’s divine Plan.

Prophetic Times To The End - Daniel - Part 11

End Times Daniel 10 pt. 2

Conflict: holy and unholy angels

Dan. 10:11 Daniels visitor said to him, “O Daniel , man of preciousness, Daniel is to understand the words that the angel is about to tell him, and upon your standing, the angel is saying because of your preciousness with God, I (the angel) have been sent to you.” Daniel says now when the angel spoke these words to him, he (Daniel) finished standing up still trembling. [ref. Job. 4:14,15]

Dan. 10:12 The angel then said to Daniel, “Do not be afraid Daniel for from the first day of your prayer and supplications and your setting your heart (mind) on understanding, you humbled yourself before God the Father. Daniel your words were heard, and I (angel) have come in response to your prayer to God the Father.

Dan. 10:13 The angel tells Daniel that the prince of the kingdom of Persia was standing opposite of him, contending against him for twenty-one days. The prince of the kingdom of Persia would be Satan or one of his chief demons. The angel said to Daniel that Michael one of the chief princes, came to help him, for he (the angel) had been left there with the Kings of Persia. We can see from this that even though Satan is the ruler of the age “the times of the Gentiles” God the Father has his influence upon the rulers of the land appointed for their time of rule.

Dan. 10:14 The angel says, “now I have come to give you Daniel, an understanding of what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision pertains to the days yet.”( Time of the end) So we see here that the angel is telling Daniel that he has come to give Daniel his hearts desire. Daniel in his prayers wants to know for his people’s sake and for the Lords glory what was needed before God, for Daniel’s people to receive God’s grace and mercy.

Dan. 10:15 Daniel says that when the angel had spoken to him of these words, he set his face toward the ground and became speechless. Daniel had been weakened at the appearance of the angelic visitor, now Daniel was also overwhelmed at learning of the angelic…demon conflict that delayed the answer of his prayers. [ref.Eph.6:12]

End Times Revealed - Part One

END TIMES REVEALED - PART ONE

Rumblings being heard in the Middle East that could have the most dramatic of repercussions, and for none more than for the church today. In studying Isaiah and other of the prophets, not only do we find the alliances that the Bible speaks of in reference to the time of tribulation, but we find that the attitudes of those nations that are named are in accord with what the prophets said they would be; written a millennia ago.

The Arab nations seem to be coming together in a determined spirit, knowing that now is the time that somehow, peace must be made between Israel and the Palestinians. A recent conference in Annapolis, attended by representatives of forty-four nations, began when a meeting was called for between Arab heads of state. From this evolved another Annapolis meeting. Saudi Arabia did offer a particular plan, but was rejected because it did not issue a right of the Palestinian refugees to return to land lost when Israel became a state (1948). Israel has made her final offer, She has stated that she would withdraw to her pre-1967 borders, excepting for East Jerusalem. She has nothing more to offer. With what we are seeing happen at this time in our lives, our minds must look to the prophetic calendar.

The rapture of the true church is the next scheduled event that will take place for Christians during this time period we live in today, called the “Church Age“. Nothing will precede it for the church. When this age ends at the rapture, God will again be dealing with Israel nationally and this will usher in what is known as the tribulation period. The seventieth week of Daniel’s “seventy weeks” will begin, the things that tell as the times and the seasons are upon us, these are the circumstances on the ground in the Middle East presently. We need to look at the book of Daniel for the prophetic outline of the World from that time to the time of Christ and the cross, and some to the time of the anti-chirst, who will come upon the scene during the tribulation period, make a covenant with Israel and then will break that covenant after 3.5 years of the 7 years that this end times ruler will have dominion of the world. After the first 3.5 years of relative peace for Israel has come to an end the world will enter into what is known as The Great Tribulation period comprised of the last 3.5 years of the 7 years. At the end of the great tribulation period Christ Jesus the King of Kings will return to earth at what is known as the second advent and rescue Israel and the rest of the world from the anti-christ, which will end the “times of the Gentiles” domination of the world and Christ will take Israel the nation of priests into what is known as the Millennial Kingdom as their King and reign for 1,000 years. The church was not known to the Old Testament prophets. Read Daniel as you follow this outline to come to the understanding of these scriptures. I have also set up a Bible study platform on my web site that is going through Daniel chapter 7 through chapter 12. Please join me and others in this Bible study we have set the study up in a format that people can ask questions and get answers to their questions at any time during the study process, so please join us in learning the Word of God and understanding what God has for us to learn in these “end times”

CHAPTER 1: a Introductory; b. - The moral condition suited to enlightenment in the way’s and counsels of God. C. - Separation maintained “The undefiled in the way”

CHAPTER 2: a Babylon vs. 38; b - Medo-Persia vs. 39 first half; c - Greece vs. 39 last half; - d Rome vs. 40.

Times of the Gentiles, Israel under God’s judgment and protection until the promised land be cleansed.

CHAPTER 3: a - enforced worship of the Image; b - a preserved remnant; c - Typical of the abomination of desolation; d- and the faithful remnant

CHAPTER 4: Nebuchadnezzar humbled. Typical of the subjugation of all Gentile power.

CHAPTER 5: a - mene mene tekel upharsin - Babylon destroyed; b. Medo Persia succeeds to World empire; c - Typical of the impiety and doom of gentile power.

CHAPTER 6: a - Daniel is preserved in the lions den- Typical of the Lord’s care of the Israelite remnant; b - A typical of how the remnant of Judah will find themselves in the day’s of the Antichrist.

CHAPTER 7: Basically covers the same ground as chapter 2. In chapter 2 we see as the King saw a stately statue of a man representing kingdoms. In chapter 7 we see as Daniel saw in God’s light the same empires, he sees them as four ravenous wild beasts, so brutal and so monstrous, that no actual creatures known to man could actually set them forth.

CHAPTER 8: a - The Grecian little horn--We have outlined for our learning the rise, progress, decline and fall, emphasizing the truth that “righteousness exalted a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people”

CHAPTER 9: a - The prophecy of the seventy weeks; b - 483 years to Christ coming and rejection

CHAPTER 10, 11, 13: Prophetic history in detail
10 - Angelic ministry and “World-Rulers of this Darkness” (Eph 6:12)
11 - world Empire passes to Greece. Wars of the Ptolemies (Egypt) and Seleucida (Syria).

After going through Daniel and his prophecy to the time of Christ Work on the cross, we enter what has been foretold by Christ and his Disciples and Apostles in scripture to the Church our present Age from Cross to rapture of the Church. (Eph. 3:3-11). When Christ went upon the cross the lamb slain for all people the last of any prophecy was fulfilled until the church rapture has occurred as Paul explains in 1 Cor. 15:51-53; Phil. 3:20, 21; 1 Thes. 4:13-18.

As to the rapture of the church we have no time line. There is no scripture specific, there are some hints as to the times and the seasons as we saw in the Book of Daniel. As the angel told to Daniel or as Daniel was to overhear of the angelic conversation a sign to the time of the end could be ease of travel around the world, (as we can see is ever so upon us as people can have breakfast in L.A. and Dinner in Tokyo after an evening meeting and be back in L.A for breakfast the next morning). Expansion of knowledge will be extreme. As we also have upon us the internet is so expansive and full of knowledge of anything you would want to know that the time is such that the church could experience rapture at any moment, could also be 100 yrs, 1000 yrs, we just don’t know. But we do know that this must happen before the beast or the anti-christ can be made known to the world.

Prophetic Times To The End - Part Ten

The Vision of the Glory of God

Dan. 10:1 Again Daniel was telling us what year he wrote this prophecy. This was written in the Third year of reign of Cyrus king of Persia 536 B.C. Daniel says that a message was revealed to him and that the Persians called him by the name Belteshazzar; Daniel tells us that he knows that the message is true (factual, truth, word revealed by God) and revealed at a time of great conflict, (of warfare), Daniel understood the words God spoke and had an understanding of the vision.

Dan. 10:2 Daniel says, that, in those days because of the understanding of God’s word and going through the vision he had been mourning for his people and himself for three entire weeks.

Dan. 10:3 Daniel relates to us that he fasted during this entire three weeks, he says, I did not eat any tasty food, nor meat or wine entered his mouth. He did not use the ointment of custom at all, this was done out of respect for God the Father in praise and adoration.

Dan. 10:4 Daniel here is giving us a reference to the Jewish calendar. Daniel says on the 24th day of the first month, (Israel’s religious calendar began in Nisan, which was spring. The first three feasts took place in the first month of Nison. These were Passover, Unleavened Bread, and First Fruits. Nisan or Abib refers to March-April). Daniel explains that he was by the banks of the great river, the Tigris.

Dan. 10:5 Daniel lifted his eyes and looked, he saw that a certain man dressed in fine linen, (what Daniel saw was Jesus Christ before him, this is called a Theophanies, [ref. Gen. 12:7] these are pre-incarnate appearances of God the Son, either in angelic or human form, by manifested glory [ref. Ezk. 1], or in a manner as not described [ref. Gen. 17:1]). Daniel goes on to say, Jesus was girded at the waist by a belt of pure gold of Uphaz. This is His priestly attire. [ref. Rev. 1:13]

Dan. 10:6 Daniel explains further, that, his visitor’s body was like beryl. His face shown like lightening, His eyes were like flames of torches, His arms and feet gleamed like burnished bronze, and the sound of His words like the sound of a roaring. [ref. Rev. 1:15]
Daniel saw something of the glory of the heavens reflected in the one who visited him, angels, who dwell in the presence of God who is light, are themselves clothed with light. [ref. Rev. 1:14-16; 19:12] Beryl is a yellow serpentine color which surrounded the body of Daniels visitor.

Dan. 10:7 Daniel says, he alone saw the vision, while there were others with him at the time. Daniel says a great dread fell on them, when they saw the tremendous bright light coming upon them, they ran away with fear to hide themselves.

Dan. 10:8 Daniel tells us he was left alone and saw the great vision of God; Daniel tells us that great stress was left upon him from what was taking place. It drained all of his strength. Daniels natural olive complexion, he says, turned to a deadly pallor (very pale). He could not regain his strength even in his trying to do so.

Dan. 10:9 Daniel says he heard the sound of his visitor’s words; and immediately after hearing the words, Daniel fell in a deep sleep on his face, with his face to the ground he lay.

Dan. 10:10 Daniel is astonished, he says, a hand touched me, and he became trembling, trying to get to his hands and knees.
