Ezekiel Chapter 39 Vs. 11

The Aftermath of the Battle

And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the [noses] of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call [it] The valley of Hamon-gog. Eze. 39:11

in that day,... In that day—after Armageddon, Gog and his armies (that is, five-sixths of his armies) will be buried. It will take seven months to bury such a vast multitude of bodies and dispose of every bone in all the land (Eze. 39:12-14).

it shall stop... Before the most of them are buried men will stop their noses as they pass through the land because of such a stench coming from the decaying bodies. The publicity of the road would cause many to observe God's judgments, as the stench (as English Version translates) or the multitude of graves would arrest the attention of passers-by. Their grave would be close to that of their ancient prototypes, Sodom and Gomorrah in the Dead Sea, both alike being signal instances of God's judgments.

a place there... Gog found only a grave where he had expected the spoils of conquest.

the valley of... So vast were to be the masses that nothing but a deep valley would suffice for their corpses. the passengers on the east of the sea - those traveling on the high road, east of the Dead Sea, from Syria to Petra and Egypt.

east of the... To what "sea" is Ezekiel referring? It is the sea that the "Valley of the Passengers" enters. That is the "Sea of Salt" or the "Dead Sea". The "Valley of the Passengers" in Hebrew is "Guy-'Ohverim". It is a deep gorge, an abysmal chasm, a canyon that descends from the crest of Mount Moab down between Mount Nebo's Pisgah on the North and the mount called "Ohverim" on the South. "Oh-ver" means "pass", "Ohverim" means "Passengers". Guy-'Ohverim enters the sea directly opposite to the Cave of the Column.

Over the ridge of Mount Moab flowing east away from Guy-'Ohverim, is the Valley of Tubal. The Tubal River flows down all the way from Mount Moab to the Euphrates at the ancient city of Babylon.

They shall call... Hamon-gog the valley of, the multitude of Gog (Eze. 39:11, 39:15).

Daniel Chapter 1 Vs. 14

Daniel's Faithfulness

So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days. Dan. 1:14

So he consented... Since this will not get him in trouble, Melzar agrees to it.

and proved them... Daniel requested a 10-day trial period in which Daniel and his companions would be given only vegetables… and water. (The Heb. word for vegetables, meaning “sown things,” may also include grains.) Since the Mosaic Law designated no vegetables as unclean, Daniel could eat any vegetables put before him without defiling himself.

My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 17:14

My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 17:14

Before Jesus was crucified He told the disciples to watch and pray, something so simple, but they let their physical bodies take over and they fell back asleep. In these last hours of time you need to hear His voice. When He tells you something, it is very important, but most ignore my voice or just discuss it and go on with what they were doing. You will see many things start to happen shortly and if you do not hear and obey His voice,... it will mean death for some of you....Jesus has only your best interest in mind. Christ knows you heart, and if you are truly His you will hear His voice. He awakes many of you at 3am on the dot, but most will roll over and go back to sleep. There are a few who will get up and pray. Your day is filled with so many things and Jesus is the last thing many of you give your time to. But Christ needs to talk to you,... to fellowship with you and only when you are still and quite (3am) can you hear Him,... the rest of your day is so busy you do not have time for Him,... but you need to make time, for time is short and the Lord has instructions for you.

Revelation 17

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. Rev 17:14
These shall make... This proves the 10 kings have not yet come. They are not here now but will yet come and fight Christ at Armageddon (Rev. 17:14; 19:19-21 Dan. 2:44-45; 7:23-27; 8:20-25; 11:45; 12:7).
war with the... A reference to the battle of Armageddon (16:14-16), where the Lamb will destroy the kings (19:17-21).
Lord of lords,... A title for God (19:16; 1 Tim. 6:15; compare Deut. 10:17; Psalm 136:3), that emphasizes His sovereignty over all other rulers to whom He has delegated authority.
they that are... These shall make war with the Lamb. This will occur when these kings kill His faithful followers and come out to fight against Christ in the Battle of Armageddon.
are called, and... Those who join with Christ to overcome them are called "chosen, and faithful," titles used in other Scriptures to describe true believers (1 Pet. 2:9).
You see, as has been said so many times before, we Christians are in a battle. Our leader is the Lamb (Jesus Christ). We are fighting a very real enemy. The devil and his demons are our enemies. This war we are in is a war of the spirit. We must come against the devil in hand to hand combat every day. Our weapon is the two-edged sword (Bible).
This war is fought by an army of believers who always have their weapon (Bible), at their side. Besides having it at their side, they have its contents inside of them (their food is the Word of God). When they are in hot combat, the sword comes from their mouth. They are willing to lay down their lives for the cause of Jesus.
The flag we Christians fly is the banner of righteousness. It is red because of the blood of our leader, it is white because of the righteousness of believers, and it is blue for our heavenly calling. This is a voluntary army. This battle is in the final hours before the return of the Lord. This army will be made up of boys, girls, men and women. God has called a vast army, as He did in Gideon's day.
This group will be sold out completely to God. They will be willing to give up homes, family, friends, wealth, and position in their community to work for God. They will be loyal to Jesus even to the death. They will have a peculiar uniform described (in Ephesians chapter 6, this is the Christian’s armor). This uniform will be provided to us by our Lord (Jesus). Loins girded about with truth, breastplate of righteousness, feet shod with the preparation of the gospel, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.
The big difference is that this army will have patches on their knees. This battle will be fought with much prayer (on our knees). You see this victory is the Lord's. We must fight the good fight. Give it everything you have. The war is peaking now. God needs good Christians who will not compromise for any reason. The battle is hard, but the rewards are beyond comprehension; a home in heaven forever with Jesus and the opportunity to hear Him say, "Well done thy good and faithful servant".
You see, we soldiers shall be kings and priests (Rev. 1:6; Rev 5:10), but He will be Lord and King over all. We are the called, chosen and faithful. Hallelujah!

Their antagonism to Christ is indicated throughout the entire seven years. And when Christ returns, these 10 kings will war against Him but will be defeated (Rev. 17:14).

Ezekiel Chapter 39 Vs. 10

Destruction of Gog

So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down [any] out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD. Eze. 39:10

shall take no... Throughout the remainder of the Tribulation period and into the beginning of the Millennium, as Israel will be burning those weapons, she will not need to cut down trees.

shall spoil those... This will be an amazing reversal of Gog’s fortunes. Israel will plunder those who plundered her and loot those who looted her.

This speaks of using these weapons for burning, in the place of wood from the forest, to heat the homes. Whatever of value they had, will go to Israel. They were the victors, even though they did not fight the war. God fought for them.

Daniel Chapter 1 Vs. 13

Daniel's Faithfulness

Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants. Dan. 1:13

Then let our... Daniel knew that even without the special blessing of God they would not look any worse with legal and proper food than others who did not observe the strict dietary and health laws of Moses.

Revelation 17
These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. Rev 17:13
have one mind,...Then the Beast's kingdom starts to come apart. He hears rumors of insurrection, which fill him "with great fury to destroy and annihilate many," in Daniel's terminology (Dan. 11:44).
It is to fulfill prophecy. Kings and Kingdoms, good and evil, have to do exactly what God wants. Sometimes they are not even aware of why they are doing it. God puts the idea into their head, while all the time, they think it is their clever idea.
He marches to the Valley of Megiddo, where he meets other armies of the world, and there they do an amazing thing as we see in the next scripture.

The 10 kings will unite their power to support the beast (Rev. 17:13), the Middle East ruler who will emerge in the end time and will make a covenant with Israel seven years before the second coming of Christ.

Ezekiel Chapter 39 Vs. 9

Destruction of Gog

And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: Eze. 39:9

they that dwell... After the one-day battle of Armageddon Israel will begin the work of burying the millions of men slain on the battlefield (Eze. 39:9-16). The prediction is that no wood will be needed from the forests to be used as fuel for seven years, because there will be enough material collected from the battlefield to provide fires that long (Eze. 39:9-10). In modern life most of those in the cities will no doubt burn the natural gas or use electricity, but there will still be many others depending on wood and other materials for warmth and cooking.

This scripture is speaking of the tremendous amounts of weapons that will be in the battle of Gog and Magog. They will be of no use, as how can humans fight God? The cleanup from such devastation would be a long, tremendous task.

The aftermath of the battle (Eze. 39:9-20).

Those who will come to plunder Israel (Eze. 38:12) will themselves be plundered. Israelites will use the fallen soldiers’ weapons for fuel… for seven years. Should the weapons of war — horses, swords, shields… bows… arrows… clubs… and spears (Eze. 38:4-5; 39:9) — be understood literally or do they refer figuratively to modern-day weaponry? The text itself can allow for both interpretations, but the normal meaning of the words would lead one to see Ezekiel referring to literal horses, etc. With the other worldwide catastrophes evident during the first three and one-half years of Daniel’s 70th Week (Mat. 24:6-8; Rev. 6:1-17), a reversion to more primitive methods of warfare might become possible.
