Prophecy Against Gog
Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: [and] many people with thee. Eze. 38:6
Gomer, and all... Today the area called Gomer is Armenia, which also was known as Cappadocia, having a people called Gomer in Assyrian inscriptions. Togarmah is eastern Turkey today.
God will use Gog and all his allies as pawns in His larger plans for Israel. Yet the idea for attacking Israel also will originate with Gog. Gog will act freely to accomplish his own evil goals. He “will devise an evil scheme,” Eze. 38:10.
