My
Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 15:8
Before
Jesus was crucified He told the disciples to watch and pray,
something so simple, but they let their physical bodies take over and
they fell back asleep. In these last hours of time you need to hear
His voice. When He tells you something, it is very important, but
most ignore my voice or just discuss it and go on with what they were
doing. You will see many things start to happen shortly and if you do
not hear and obey His voice,... it will mean death for some of
you....Jesus has only your best interest in mind. Christ knows you
heart, and if you are truly His you will hear His voice. He awakes
many of you at 3am on the dot, but most will roll over and go back to
sleep. There are a few who will get up and pray. Your day is filled
with so many things and Jesus is the last thing many of you give your
time to. But Christ needs to talk to you,... to fellowship with you
and only when you are still and quite (3am) can you hear Him,... the
rest of your day is so busy you do not have time for Him,... but you
need to make time, for time is short and the Lord has instructions
for you.
Revelation
15
The Heavenly
Tabernacle
And the temple was
filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no
man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the
seven angels were fulfilled. Rev. 15:8
till
the seven... This indicates that
people have access to the temple except on this occasion.
John
saw one of the four living creatures give the seven golden bowls
filled with the wrath of God to the seven angels. When this was done,
smoke filled the temple, making it impossible for anyone to enter it
until the seven plagues were poured out on the earth (cf. Exo.
40:34-35). Taken as a whole, Rev. 15:5-8 presents a fearful picture
of impending divine judgment on a wicked world. The judgments which
are to be poured out (Rev. 16:1-21) fully justify this ominous
introduction.
In this passage, the
vision of the seven angels and the heavenly tabernacle is resumed,
after being broken into by the vision of the tribulation saints upon
the sea of glass. The temple in heaven is a literal temple in which
God sits on a throne. The words “temple” and “temples” are
used 206 times and the words “tabernacles” are used 339 times in
both Testaments.
There are two Hebrew
words for our English word
“temple”
- Haykawl means “a large public building,” such as a palace or temple, Isa. 6:1.
- Bahyith means “a house” in the greatest variety of applications.
There three Greek
words for our English word “temple”
- Hieron means “a sacred place, sanctuary, or temple of worship.”
- Naos means “dwelling, a shrine, or a temple.”
- Oikos means “home, household, or temple.”
There two Hebrew word
for our English word
“Tabernacle”
- Ohel means “a tent, covering, house or tabernacle.”
- Mish-kawn means “residence, shepherds hut, animals lair, temple, dwelling, tent, or tabernacle.”
There are three Greek
words for our English word
“Tabernacle”
- Skene means “habitation or tabernacle.”
- Skenonia means “encampment, man's body, or idol temple.”
- Skenopegia means “festival of tabernacles or a temporary home.”
Every
time these words are used they are to be taken in their plain natural
sense unless there is an explanation that they are used differently.
The fact that the temple will be opened at different times and that
beings will come out of it, shows that the temple is literal, Rev.
4:1; 11:19. The Greek word ek translated
“out” in Rev. 14:17,18; 15:6; 16:1-17; etc. denotes motion from
the interior and means “out from” as distinguished from ”away
from.” Such could not be possible if there were no temple and if it
were impossible to go into and out of it as with any other building.
The temple will be filled
with smoke of the glory of God and His power after the seven angels
come out of it with the seven vials which are to poured out upon the
earth, and no man will be able to enter the temple until the seven
vials are completed, Rev. 15:8. Smoke, in connection with the glory
of God, generally, if not in every case in the Bible, means
“judgment.” Next, John heard “a great voice out of the temple”
saying to the seven angels, “Go your ways, and pour out the vials
of the wrath of God upon the earth.” This indicates that they knew
just what to do and when to do it.
