My Sheep
Hear My Voice
Before Jesus was crucified He told the
disciples to watch and pray, something so simple, but they let their
physical bodies take over and they fell back asleep. In these last
hours of time you need to hear His voice. When He tells you
something, it is very important, but most ignore my voice or just
discuss it and go on with what they were doing. You will see many
things start to happen shortly and if you do not hear and obey His
voice,... it will mean death for some of you....Jesus has only your
best interest in mind. Christ knows you heart, and if you are truly
His you will hear His voice. He awakes many of you at 3am on the
dot, but most will roll over and go back to sleep. There are a few
who will get up and pray. Your day is filled with so many things and
Jesus is the last thing many of you give your time to. But Christ
needs to talk to you,... to fellowship with you and only when you are
still and quite (3am) can you hear Him,... the rest of your day is so
busy you do not have time for Him,... but you need to make time, for
time is short and the Lord has instructions for you.
Revelation
Chapter 7
A
Great Multitude from Every Nation
(Parenthetical,
Rev. 7:1-17)
“And
I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they
which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and
made them white in the blood of the Lamb” (Rev. 7:14).
I
said unto him... When John
indicated that he did not know the answer (Rev.
7:14) the
elder himself answered the question as to who this multitude was and
where they came from.
great
tribulation... They come out
of the great tribulation, hence we call them the tribulation saints
(note, Rev.
4:4).
Literally in Greek: "the tribulation, the great," referring
to the last 3 1/2 years of Daniel’s 70th week (Mat.
24:15-22; Dan. 12:1; Jer. 30:6-9).
All the events of Rev. 11:15-19:21 take place during this time.
These
people didn't go with the raptured church, since they were not yet
saved. During the 7 year period, they will be saved, martyred and
enter heaven. Though it is a time of unparalleled judgment, it is
also a time of unparalleled grace in salvation (compare Matt.
24:12-14).
washed
their robes... The door of
mercy will never be closed to Jews or Gentiles, for whosoever calls
on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Act.
2:16-21;
Rom.
1:16; 10:9-17; 1Co. 6:11; 1 Jhn. 1:7; Rev. 1:5; 12:17; 22:17).
Salvation's
cleansing is in view (see Titus 2:11-14).
Blood
of the Lamb... This refers to the atoning sacrifice of Christ
(compare 1:5; 5:9; Rom. 3:24-25; 5:9).
You
see, he definitely already knew who they were. This was just
emphasizing a lesson to be learned. This white is such a bright white
that, I believe, it even glistens as the Shekinah Glory of God. Here
again, white stands for righteousness. We are righteous because we
have taken on Jesus' righteousness. Notice also, that they were not
saved from tribulation, but in it.
Don't
forget, every one of those new believers will have been left behind
after the Rapture precisely because he or she had rejected God's
offer of salvation up to that point.
The
white robes portray a standing of righteousness, and the multitude
praises God especially for their salvation. Note the sevenfold praise
(of verse 12).
