The Pronouncement of the King
He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions. Dan. 6:27
He delivereth and... Darius is very impressed with Daniel's God, because He did the seemingly impossible, by saving Daniel from the lions.
Psalms 46:1 "God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
Our God is eternal, His kingdom is indestructible (cf. Dan. 7:14), and He intervenes in people’s affairs and delivers those who trust Him. He works by miraculous power (signs and wonders; cf. Dan. 4:2-3) to perform His will, including the miraculous delivery of Daniel. Such a God is truly to be reverenced and worshiped.
