Daniel and the Lions' Den
Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever. Dan. 6:6
So the 122 leaders devised a plot. (Daniel was certainly outnumbered!)
Notice, they began by flattering the king. They really did not care whether he lived or not, unless it would help them get their way.
