No One Is Righteous
And the way of peace have they not known: Rom 3:17
These verses describe the vileness and wickedness of various parts of the human body, indicating figuratively that every part contributes to a person’s condemnation.
As
a result they and others are destroyed materially and spiritually,
are miserable, and know
no inner peace (cf. Isa. 57:21).
Not
the lack of an inner sense of peace, but man’s tendency toward
strife and conflict, whether between individuals or nations.
