My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 18:24

My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 18:24

Before Jesus was crucified He told the disciples to watch and pray, something so simple, but they let their physical bodies take over and they fell back asleep. In these last hours of time you need to hear His voice. When He tells you something, it is very important, but most ignore my voice or just discuss it and go on with what they were doing. You will see many things start to happen shortly and if you do not hear and obey His voice,... it will mean death for some of you....Jesus has only your best interest in mind. Christ knows you heart, and if you are truly His you will hear His voice. He awakes many of you at 3am on the dot, but most will roll over and go back to sleep. There are a few who will get up and pray. Your day is filled with so many things and Jesus is the last thing many of you give your time to. But Christ needs to talk to you,... to fellowship with you and only when you are still and quite (3am) can you hear Him,... the rest of your day is so busy you do not have time for Him,... but you need to make time, for time is short and the Lord has instructions for you.

Revelation 18

And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth” Rev. 18:24

all that were... This seems to teach that Babylon has been responsible for all murders on earth, as well as the martyrdom of all saints that have ever been slain, but this could not possibly be, for Abel and many other antedeluvians were destroyed before Babylon ever existed. Multitudes have been slain outside of Babylon in all generations since her existence. The true meaning is that Babylon will be the final concentration of martyrdom's and reigns of terror, making her responsible in the same sense that all the blood from Abel to Zacharias the prophet was to be required of the Pharisees living at the time of Jesus (Mat. 23:35-36). The idea is that of cumulative sins and judgment. God will punish Babylon with destruction and wrath equal to what she would receive if she were responsible for all that were ever slain upon earth. Her destruction will culminate the wrath of God started under the 6th seal in the first 3 1/2 years of Daniel’s 70th week (Rev. 6:12-17).

And in her... A final reason given for Babylon's judgment is her murderous slaughter of God's people.

blood of prophets,... The religious and commercial/political systems embodied in Babylon will commit unspeakable atrocities against God’s people (compare 6:10; 11:7; 13:7, 15; 17:6; 19:2). God will avenge that slaughter of His people (19:2).

This is the city Babylon and the faithless church as well. True, faithful Christians are many times neglected and even oppressed by this church. We see youth lost because of the shallow teachings of this apostate church. Every time I see strong Christians ridiculed by lukewarm Christians, I am more convinced, more people are lost going to a watered-down church than by not going to church at all. At least those who do not go at all are not fooled into a false sense of security. They know they are lost.
It is much easier to reach someone who never went to church, because they know they need a Savior. The ones who go once or twice a year believe they are already saved and don't need the Savior. It is such a shame that the Shepherds do not teach their people to study the Bible for themselves. Through the Word is where true commitment begins.

The events of Rev. 17:1-18 will be fulfilled at the midpoint of the seven years, whereas the events of Rev. 18:1-24 will occur at the end of the seven years, immediately before the second coming of Christ. The destruction of the city of Babylon is the final blow to the times of the Gentiles, which began when the Babylonian army attacked Jerusalem in 605 b.c. (cf. Luke 21:24).

With Rev. 17:1-18 and Rev. 18:1-24 giving additional insight and information concerning the earth’s major religious and political movements during that final seven years, the stage is now set for the climax of the Book of Revelation — the second coming of Christ (Rev. 19:1-21).
