But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Rom 6:22
now being made... Now, in the present life people are free from sin in Christ (2Cor. 5:17-18).
become servants to... A change in masters means a change in service (Mat. 6:24).
ye have your... Righteousness has two main results:
1. Present holiness of life (Rom. 6:22)
2. Future and eternal life, the end of a life of sowing to the Spirit (Rom. 6:22-23; 8:13; Gal. 6:7-8; see, John 6:27)
A servant obeys his master. Obedience is better than sacrifice (1Sam. 15:22). God wants our loyalty and our love.
Eph. 5:9 “(For the fruit of the Spirit [is] in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)”

Gal. 6:9 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
fruit unto holiness... The benefit of being slaves to God is sanctification, the outcome of which is eternal life.
By
contrast of vs,21, this gift (charisma,
“grace-gift”) of God is eternal life (cf. John 3:16, 3:36).
Eternal life is a gift that cannot be earned (cf. Eph. 2:8-9; Tit.
3:5).
