The Temple's Chambers
And before the chambers was a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north. Eze 42:4
of ten cubits... This would be 17 feet 6 inches.
of one cubit... A long cubit was 21 inches.
The walk in front of the chambers seems to have been 17 feet 6 inches wide. Each door could have been set in 1-1/2 foot for privacy. This is like a motel with a walk in front of it.
This complex of rooms was connected with the inner court, with entrances from the outer court. There were two buildings on the north side with a common corridor 17½ feet (10 cubits) wide (Eze. 42:4).
