My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 22:20

My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 22:20

Before Jesus was crucified He told the disciples to watch and pray, something so simple, but they let their physical bodies take over and they fell back asleep. In these last hours of time you need to hear His voice. When He tells you something, it is very important, but most ignore my voice or just discuss it and go on with what they were doing. You will see many things start to happen shortly and if you do not hear and obey His voice,... it will mean death for some of you....Jesus has only your best interest in mind. Christ knows you heart, and if you are truly His you will hear His voice. He awakes many of you at 3am on the dot, but most will roll over and go back to sleep. There are a few who will get up and pray. Your day is filled with so many things and Jesus is the last thing many of you give your time to. But Christ needs to talk to you,... to fellowship with you and only when you are still and quite (3am) can you hear Him,... the rest of your day is so busy you do not have time for Him,... but you need to make time, for time is short and the Lord has instructions for you.

Revelation 22

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Rev. 22:20

Surely I come... The last promise in Scripture and concerns the second coming of Jesus Christ to the earth. Being one of the most important doctrines of the Bible, this is referred to many hundreds of times in both testaments.

250. Soon return of Jesus Christ to fulfill all the above promises (Rev. 22:7, 22:12, 22:20; cp. 3:11)

There are 750 promises in the New Testament, but only 250 separate benefits due to the fact that many of the promises are repeated in different books. Some are not in the form of a promise, but the truths they contain make the basis of our claims for gospel benefits, so they are listed as promises. Generally, verses are listed with the book wherein the promise is found first.

Surely I come quickly” (see Rev. 3:11). In light of this future expectation, what is now required of believers is outlined by Peter (see 2 Peter 3:11-18).

As previously stated, the translation is "Surely I come suddenly", when least expected. The cry of every Christian should be "come quickly Lord Jesus", as I said before. My cry, as I go through the land telling people of my Savior and Lord, is "JESUS IS COMING".

John speaks for all true believers when he writes, "Come Lord Jesus", since Christians are those "who have loved His appearing" (2 Tim. 4:8). Scoffers may mockingly ask, "Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation" (2 Peter 3:4). But things will not continue forever as they are. Jesus will return, just as Revelation predicts. If the certainty of Christ's return to judge sinners does not motivate people to repent, then nothing will.

"Amen" means so be it.

The Final Prayer And Promise (Rev. 22:20-21)

One further word of testimony was then given: Yes, I am coming soon (cf. Rev. 22:7, 22:12). To this John replied in a brief prayer, Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
