The Inner Court
The little chambers thereof, the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, and the windows to it round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits. Eze 40:36
was fifty cubits... Fifty long cubits would be 87 feet 6 inches.
five and twenty... This would be 43 feet 9 inches.
This again, is speaking of the chambers, and the posts, and the arches taking up an area, 87 feet 6 inches by 43 feet 9 inches. As we said, it is the same at each gate.
The south gate (Eze. 40:28-31), east gate (Eze. 40:32-34), and north gate (Eze. 40:35-37) of the inner court were identical and were also the same as the three gates of the outer court except that the portico's of the inner gates faced the outer court.
