Chambers for the Priests
And he said unto me, This chamber, whose prospect is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house. Eze 40:45
This chamber, whose... This was for the house priests.
keepers of the... This seems they were in charge of seeing that the tasks were properly done.
The
room on the north side was the one facing south (i.e., its entrance
opened to the south into the inner court). This room was for the
priests in charge of the temple.
