My
Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 16:11
Before
Jesus was crucified He told the disciples to watch and pray,
something so simple, but they let their physical bodies take over and
they fell back asleep. In these last hours of time you need to hear
His voice. When He tells you something, it is very important, but
most ignore my voice or just discuss it and go on with what they were
doing. You will see many things start to happen shortly and if you do
not hear and obey His voice,... it will mean death for some of
you....Jesus has only your best interest in mind. Christ knows you
heart, and if you are truly His you will hear His voice. He awakes
many of you at 3am on the dot, but most will roll over and go back to
sleep. There are a few who will get up and pray. Your day is filled
with so many things and Jesus is the last thing many of you give your
time to. But Christ needs to talk to you,... to fellowship with you
and only when you are still and quite (3am) can you hear Him,... the
rest of your day is so busy you do not have time for Him,... but you
need to make time, for time is short and the Lord has instructions
for you.
Revelation
16
And blasphemed the God
of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of
their deeds” Rev. 16:11
blasphemed
the God... A sign of their continued loyalty to Antichrist and their
anger at God for the cumulative miseries brought about by the first 5
vials. “God of heaven”, a frequent Old Testament title for God,
appears in the New Testament here (and in 11:13).
Mark 13:24 "But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon will not give her light". The effects on people, described in: Rev. 16:10c "And they gnawed their tongues for pain", indicate that the relief from the heat will soon produce an exasperating, frustrating darkness.
We may forecast that human ingenuity in producing electricity may solve this problem, but we must remember that the water supply produces electricity, and with the tampering of the water supply, as seen in the second and third judgments, people may be incapable of continuing to draw electrical power and illumination from the rivers and bodies of water.
These judgments are so clearly supernatural that everyone will know that they descend from the God of heaven. But instead of falling down before Him to become the recipients of His mercy, people only "cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done." They not only blaspheme God, but refuse to change their ways. Let it be understood that those who reject the Lord do so, not because of philosophical doubts or unexplained answers to unanswered questions, but as a result of hardness of heart and love for sin.
Their sores, The lingering effects of the first bowl are the chief cause of their blasphemy.
Again
they cursed… God and refused to repent. This is the last reference
in Revelation to a failure to repent (cf. Rev. 2:21; 9:21; 16:9; cf.,
however, Rev. 16:21). The fifth bowl is similar to the fifth trumpet
(Rev. 9:1-11) in that both will bring darkness, but the fifth trumpet
has to do with demon possession rather than physical pain.
The beast and his
followers will have been tormenting God's people and in their hideous
unmerciful attitude will have laughed at the cries and pains of the
saints, so God will reward them doubly for their sins. This plague
will be poured out upon the “seat” or throne of the beast and
“his kingdom will be full of darkness.” This further indicates
the extent of these plagues. All kingdoms outside of his kingdom will
escape these plagues just as all peoples outside of Egypt did.
Further than that, there seems to be no doubt but what God's people
(Jews and Gentiles) in this kingdom will escape these plagues as they
did in Egypt. That is plainly stated in the first vial, as well as in
this one.
It is not known how long
the plagues last, but when this vial comes men will still have their
ulcers received in the first vial. They will also have their pains,
or the effects of the other vials. They will not repent even under
such a plague as this, but will blaspheme “the God of heaven.”
Men will have deepened in their wickedness and rebellion and will
likely continue to do so more and more with each additional plague,
as was the case of Pharaoh and his servants in Egypt. The main
purpose of these plagues is punishment for their continued rebellion
against God and “their deeds” which have become as unbearable to
God as in the days of Noah and Sodom.
