My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 16:14

My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 16:14

Before Jesus was crucified He told the disciples to watch and pray, something so simple, but they let their physical bodies take over and they fell back asleep. In these last hours of time you need to hear His voice. When He tells you something, it is very important, but most ignore my voice or just discuss it and go on with what they were doing. You will see many things start to happen shortly and if you do not hear and obey His voice,... it will mean death for some of you....Jesus has only your best interest in mind. Christ knows you heart, and if you are truly His you will hear His voice. He awakes many of you at 3am on the dot, but most will roll over and go back to sleep. There are a few who will get up and pray. Your day is filled with so many things and Jesus is the last thing many of you give your time to. But Christ needs to talk to you,... to fellowship with you and only when you are still and quite (3am) can you hear Him,... the rest of your day is so busy you do not have time for Him,... but you need to make time, for time is short and the Lord has instructions for you.

Revelation 16

For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Rev. 16:14

For they are... You see, it tells you here that these are "spirits of devils". In other words, they are the followers of the devil. Demons are the fallen angels who followed Lucifer out of heaven. These "spirits of devils" have power to do miracles, just like the Egyptian magicians copied some of Moses' miracles. Their power is limited, just as was the Egyptians. When Moses threw his rod down and it became a snake, the Egyptians threw two rods down and they became snakes. The only difference was that Moses' snake swallowed their snakes (Exodus 7:9-12).

working miracles... These are supernatural wonders (compare 13:12-15), designed to deceive (compare 19:20; 1 Kings 22:20-23; Mark 13:22), the kings into invading Israel. Their impact will be so great that the unclean spirits are able to induce the kings to make the journey to Israel in spite of their sores, the intense heat, drought, and darkness.

kings of the… No longer just the eastern confederacy, but now all the world around Israel begins to gather in Israel for the final, climactic battle (Psalm 2:2-3; Joel 3:2-4; Zech. 14:1-3).
the battle of... The Battle of Armageddon (verse 16). It is the great war with God and Christ (see 2 Thess. 1:7-10; compare Joel 2:11; 3:2, 4). The war will end when Christ arrives (19:17-20).
The Bible says that at the end, the devil will have power enough to call down fire from heaven. His miracles will be so convincing that people will believe a lie. This is deception to the utmost. These evil spirits are so deceiving, that they convince these armies to come against Israel. They willingly come to the battle of Armageddon, believing they will win. This battle is actually the forces of evil coming against God Himself. This war has actually been going on for centuries, but here is the culmination of it all.

One need not speculate on the identity of the three frogs, for Rev. 16:14 explains that they are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs. These demons go throughout the world influencing kings to assemble for the battle on the great day of God Almighty (“Almighty” [pantokratōr] is also used in Rev. 1:8; 4:8; 11:17; 15:3; 16:7; 19:6, 19:15; 21:22).
While the meaning of this symbolic presentation is clear, there is a major problem involved in what the demons do. The coming world government in the Great Tribulation will be established by the power of Satan (Rev. 13:2). Here, however, Satan, the world ruler, and the false prophet unite in inciting the nations of the world to gather for the final world war. Actually the war is a form of rebellion against the world ruler. Why then should satanic forces be let loose to destroy the world empire which has just been created?
The answer seems to be in the events which follow. Satan, knowing that the second coming of Christ is near, will gather all the military might of the world into the Holy Land to resist the coming of the Son of Man who will return to the Mount of Olives (Zec. 14:4). Though the nations may be deceived in entering into the war in hope of gaining world political power, the satanic purpose is to combat the armies from heaven (introduced in Rev. 19:1-21) at the second coming of Christ.
The war is said to continue right up to the day of the Second Coming and involves house-to-house fighting in Jerusalem itself on the day of the Lord’s return (Zec. 14:1-3). The reference to “the battle” (ton polemon, Rev. 16:14) is probably better translated “the war” (NASB). Thus it is better to speak of “the war of Armageddon” (see Rev. 16:16) rather than the “the battle of Armageddon.” The war will be going on for some time, but the climax will come at Christ’s second coming. “Armageddon” comes from the Greek Harmagedōn{Language:English}, which transliterates the Hebrew words for Mount (har) of Megiddo. That mountain is near the city of Megiddo and the plain of Esdraelon, the scene of many Old Testament battles.

These lying spirits, speaking and working through the medium of false prophets, will enable them to do miraculous wonders and cause the nations to cooperate with the Antichrist at Armageddon. They will inspire the nations with the faith that by a united effort they can defeat the armies of heaven and dethrone God and reign supreme forever. This is the attitude of certain nations today, as pictured in Psm. 2. Just as the crusaders of the middle ages were allured to their destruction at Jerusalem and just as Ahab was incited to go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead (2 Chron. 18:18-22), so the nations at this time will be lead in vain hope that with one great united effort they can defeat Christ and His armies, but the end will be utter destruction. The false prophets who will be used in this false deception are referred to in Mt. 24:24-26; 1 Tim. 4:1.
The source of these spirits is clear. They will come out of the dragon and the two beasts, which are symbols of the three leaders against Christ at His comimg. In this vision John saw them come out of the mouths of these symbols, but in the fulfillment it could be that these spirits will go from these three persons according to word of command. The beasts symbolize two earthly men who will be possessed with demons by the legions and these demons could come out of them, but whether we can say that Satan is possessed with demons is another question. He is prince of demons (Mt. 12:24) and not controlled by them, so the thought seems to be that these demons go from these three persons By word of command.
The purpose of their going forth unto the kings of the earth is to "gather" them to the battle of "that great day of God almighty." This gathering of the nations is the same as the gathering mentioned in Mt. 24:40-42. This passage (Rev. 16:13-16) shows what part other nations , outside of Antichrist's kingdom, will have in the affairs of the last days in the fulfillment of prophecy and in connection with Antichrist and Israel.
These nations will be gathered into one place called Armageddon, which is the same as the valley of Jehoshaphat near Jerusalem. Therefore, Armageddon will be fought in Israel and not in Europe, Joel 3; Zech. 14.
