Nebuchadnezzar's
Dream
The
Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon
the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there
is
no king, lord, nor ruler, that
asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean. Dan.
2:10
Chaldeans
answered...
They told the truth, thus making it all the more clear that Daniel
got his dream and interpretation from God (Dan. 2:16-28).
is
no king...
They knew that no such thing had ever before been decreed by any king
and that it was impossible for any man to know the answer of himself;
so, when Daniel gave the dream and the interpretation they knew that
it had to be by the Spirit of the holy Gods, as they ever afterward
acknowledged (Dan. 4:8-9, 4:18; 5:11).
