My
Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 18:12
Before
Jesus was crucified He told the disciples to watch and pray,
something so simple, but they let their physical bodies take over and
they fell back asleep. In these last hours of time you need to hear
His voice. When He tells you something, it is very important, but
most ignore my voice or just discuss it and go on with what they were
doing. You will see many things start to happen shortly and if you do
not hear and obey His voice,... it will mean death for some of
you....Jesus has only your best interest in mind. Christ knows you
heart, and if you are truly His you will hear His voice. He awakes
many of you at 3am on the dot, but most will roll over and go back to
sleep. There are a few who will get up and pray. Your day is filled
with so many things and Jesus is the last thing many of you give your
time to. But Christ needs to talk to you,... to fellowship with you
and only when you are still and quite (3am) can you hear Him,... the
rest of your day is so busy you do not have time for Him,... but you
need to make time, for time is short and the Lord has instructions
for you.
Revelation
18
The
merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls,
and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine
wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most
precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, Rev. 18:12
merchandise
of gold,... Thirty articles
of commerce, proving this Babylon to be a great commercial center:
1. Gold
2. Silver
3. Pearls
4. Purple
5. Scarlet
6. Odours
7. Wine
8. Oil
9. Wheat
10. Beasts
11. Sheep
12. Horses
13. Chariots
14. Slaves
15. Fruits
16. Silk
17. Precious stones
18. Fine linen
19. Thyine wood
20. Vessels of ivory
21. Vessels of wood
22. Vessels of brass
23. Vessels of iron
24. Vessels of marble
25. Cinnamon
26. Ointments
27. Frankincense
28. Dainty things
29. Goodly things
30. Fine flour
and
purple,... This refers to garments laboriously dyed with purple dye
extracted from shellfish. Lydia (Acts 16:14), was a seller of such
expensive garments. A distinctive mark of the Caesars was their
purple robes.
all
thyine wood... Wood from North African citrus trees, highly valued
because of its color, which was used to make extremely expensive
pieces of furniture.
and
marble... Marble, imported from Africa, Egypt, and Greece, was widely
used in Roman buildings.
It
appears that these are classed in several types:
(1)
Personal items of jewelry;
(2)
Articles used for furniture;
(3)
Nice smelling and tasting things;
(4)
Food;
(5)
Animals;
(6)
Souls of men.
What
significance this has, I do not know; unless, it means worldly
things. Most of these are things a person could do without if hard
times came and you had to, even maybe the food for a while.
It appears to me, in all of this that trade has just about ceased, period. Probably, all the plagues and wars have just about stopped everything.
