The Division of the Land

Now these are the names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath, Hazarenan, the border of Damascus northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his sides east and west; a portion for Dan. Eze. 48:1

a portion for... Millennial division of the land. Besides the holy oblation between the Judah and Benjamin portions, the land will be divided into strips running east and west:

1. Dan on the extreme north (Eze. 48:1)

2. Asher south of Dan (Eze. 48:2)

3. Naphtali south of Asher (Eze. 48:3)

4. Manasseh south of Naphtali (Eze. 48:4)

5. Ephraim south of Manasseh (Eze. 48:5)

6. Reuben south of Ephraim (Eze. 48:6)

7. Judah south of Reuben (Eze. 48:7)

8. The section measuring 10,000 by 25,000 reeds (about 20 by 50 miles) for the Levites (Eze. 48:13-14)

9. The section measuring 10,000 by 25,000 reeds for the priests and the sanctuary (Eze. 48:8-12)

10. The section measuring 5,000 by 25,000 reeds (about 10 by 50 miles) for the city of Jerusalem, its suburbs, and the prince’s portion (Eze. 48:15-22)

11. Benjamin south of the holy oblation of points 1-10, above (Eze. 48:23)

12. Simeon south of Benjamin (Eze. 48:24)

13. Issachar south of Simeon (Eze. 48:25)

14. Zebulun south of Issachar (Eze. 48:26)

15. Gad south of Zebulun (Eze. 48:27-29)
Each one of the tribes is mentioned who inherited land. We will take note that no tribe receives land outside the boundaries of the Promised Land. Dan gets one portion in the northern area.

In dividing the millennial land among the people, God will give seven tribes portions in the northern part of the land. Proceeding from the north these tribes will be Dan (Eze. 48:1), Asher (Eze. 48:2), Naphtali (Eze. 48:3), Manasseh (Eze. 48:4), Ephraim (Eze. 48:5), Reuben (Eze. 48:6), and Judah (Eze. 48:7).
