My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 20:10

My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 20:10

Before Jesus was crucified He told the disciples to watch and pray, something so simple, but they let their physical bodies take over and they fell back asleep. In these last hours of time you need to hear His voice. When He tells you something, it is very important, but most ignore my voice or just discuss it and go on with what they were doing. You will see many things start to happen shortly and if you do not hear and obey His voice,... it will mean death for some of you....Jesus has only your best interest in mind. Christ knows you heart, and if you are truly His you will hear His voice. He awakes many of you at 3am on the dot, but most will roll over and go back to sleep. There are a few who will get up and pray. Your day is filled with so many things and Jesus is the last thing many of you give your time to. But Christ needs to talk to you,... to fellowship with you and only when you are still and quite (3am) can you hear Him,... the rest of your day is so busy you do not have time for Him,... but you need to make time, for time is short and the Lord has instructions for you.

Revelation 20

The Expulsion of Satan from the Earth

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever” Rev. 20:10

that deceived them... Just as his demons will entice the world’s armies into the Battle of Armageddon, Satan will draw them into a suicidal assault against Christ and those with Him (16:13-14).

fire and brimstone... The Antichrist and false prophet will be two mortal men killed at Armageddon (Rev. 19:20; Dan. 7:11; Isa. 11:4; 2Th. 2:8-9). Their bodies will be resurrected and cast into eternal hell (Rev. 19:20; 20:10; Dan. 7:11). They and the goat nations (Mat. 25:41, 25:46) will be in the second resurrection which, like the first resurrection, has several parts and covers a period of time. This will make the first part of the second resurrection before the Millennium. The rest of the dead will complete the second resurrection after the Millennium (Rev. 20:1-15).

where the beast... The beast and false prophet were cast into the lake of fire 1,000 years before this (Rev. 19:20). They are still there after 1,000 years, proving that hell and eternal torment are realities. If one cannot burn up in 1,000 years he will never do so (Rev. 14:9-11; Mat. 25:46; Isa. 66:22-24). The beast and false prophet have been waiting for Satan in the lake of fire and brimstone for the last one thousand years. Now their deceiver joins them.

tormented day and... The smoke of their torment rises forever and ever, and they will have no rest. Those who keep God’s commandments and are faithful to Him will need patient endurance (Rev. 14:12; cf. Rev. 13:10). The doctrine of eternal punishment, though unpopular with liberal scholars and difficult to accept, is nevertheless clearly taught in the Bible. Jesus and the Apostle John say more on this subject than does all the rest of the Bible. Continuous, unrelieved torment will be the final state of Satan, fallen angels, and unredeemed men.
There will not be a moment's peace for them all the rest of eternity.

Lake of Fire

After Satan’s followers will be destroyed, he will be thrown into the lake of burning sulfur. Being cast into the lake that was prepared for him and his angels is the final judgment on Satan (cf. Mat. 25:41). Most significant as a support of the doctrine of eternal punishment is the concluding statement, They will be tormented day and night forever and ever. The word “they” includes the devil, the beast, and the false prophet. The lake of burning sulfur is not annihilation, for the beast and false prophet are still there a thousand years after they experienced their final judgment (Rev. 19:20).

We have dealt with this passage some already. It needs no explanation. This, with the above passages on the Millennium, shows that Christ is to reign on the earth and that Satan is to be cast from the earth and into the abyss.

After Satan is loosed, he will go out to all the nations of the world and deceive them by leading them into the error of believing that they can dethrone Christ and overthrow His kingdom. The word for “deceive” is planao, meaning “to cause to wonder or go astray.” It is used of doctrinal error and religious deceit. This explains how Satan will deceive men and for what purpose. Millions of these natural men on earth at the time will have had about 1,000 years to accept Christ as a Savior and God as a Father, and to partake of salvation and have the Holy Spirit in their lives as men receive today. But they will have put this off and remained at enmity against God, still retaining their fallen Adamic nature, which is naturally corrupt and subject to Satan, so that when they see the opportunity presented to overthrow Christ and His kingdom, with the possibility of living in liberty and sin without restraint, they will seize it and make the best of it for this short time.

Satan can and will find a multitude of men whom are ready to help him overthrow the kingdom, so he will lead them up against the saints at Jerusalem to battle. These nations will be as the number of the sand of the sea. The expression “Gog and Magog” refers to the Gentiles who will rebel at this time. The destruction of this host from the east and west is post-millennial.

In their march on the city and against the kingdom to battle, fire will come down from God and devour them, and the Devil that deceived them will be cast into the Lake of Fire where the beast and the false prophet have been imprisoned since the Battle of Armageddon, before the Millennium. This is an unanswerable argument for the eternity of hell. This will finish the history of Satan, the beast, and false prophet and all wicked rebels on earth.
