My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 20:11

My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 20:11

Before Jesus was crucified He told the disciples to watch and pray, something so simple, but they let their physical bodies take over and they fell back asleep. In these last hours of time you need to hear His voice. When He tells you something, it is very important, but most ignore my voice or just discuss it and go on with what they were doing. You will see many things start to happen shortly and if you do not hear and obey His voice,... it will mean death for some of you....Jesus has only your best interest in mind. Christ knows you heart, and if you are truly His you will hear His voice. He awakes many of you at 3am on the dot, but most will roll over and go back to sleep. There are a few who will get up and pray. Your day is filled with so many things and Jesus is the last thing many of you give your time to. But Christ needs to talk to you,... to fellowship with you and only when you are still and quite (3am) can you hear Him,... the rest of your day is so busy you do not have time for Him,... but you need to make time, for time is short and the Lord has instructions for you.

Revelation 20

The Great White Throne Judgment

“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Rev. 20:11

And I saw... Seven Judgments of Scripture:

1. Judgment of believers’ sins in the cross of Christ (John 12:31-32)
(1) Subjects: believers as to sin (Rom. 6:10; Heb. 9:25-28)
(2) Time: on the cross (John 3:14; 1Pet. 2:24; John 17:4)
(3) Place: Calvary (Luke 23:33; John 19:1-42)
(4) Basis: Christ’s perfect work (John 3:16; 5:24; Rom. 6:8)
(5) Result: death to Christ; life to believers (Rom. 4:1-24; 5:1-21; 8:1-16)
2. Believers’ self-judgment throughout life (1Cor. 11:31-32)
(1) Subjects: believers walking in the the light (1Jn. 1:7)
(2) Time: every day (Rom. 6:16-23; 8:1-13; Eph. 4:22-32; Col. 3:5-17)
(3) Place: in the earth (Rom. 8:1-16; Heb. 12:5-11)
(4) Basis: obedience to God and His Word (Jas. 1:22-25)
(5) Result: chastisement or approval from God (Heb. 12:5-11)
3. Judgment of Israel for her many centuries of rebellion (Eze. 20:33-44)
(1) Subjects: the living Jews of the future tribulation (Zec. 12:10-13:1)
(2) Time: during the great tribulation (Jer. 30:3-11; Mat. 24:4-15; Dan. 9:27; 12:1)
(3) Place: Israel, Edom, and Moab (Zec. 12:1-14:21; Dan. 11:40-45; Isa. 16:1-5; Eze. 20:33-44; Hos. 2:14-17; Mat. 24:15-31; Rev. 12:6, Rev. 12:14)
(4) Basis: obedience to God and His Word (Jas. 1:22-25)
(5) Result: conversion of Israel as a nation at the second coming (Isa. 1:27; 66:7-8; Jer. 30:3-11; Eze. 22:19-22; Zec. 12:10-13:1; Mat. 23:37-39; 24:31; Rom. 11:25-29)
4. Judgment of angels for rebellion against God (2Pet. 2:4; Jude 1:6-7)
(1) Subjects: fallen angels (2Pet. 2:4; 2 Pet. 4; Jude 1:6-7; Rev. 12:7-12; 1Cor. 6:3)
(2) Time: at the great white throne judgment after the Millennium (2Pet. 2:4; Jude1:6-7; Rev. 20:11-15)
(3) Place: before the great white throne in heaven (Rev. 20:11-15)
(4) Basis: obedience to God (2Pet. 2:4; Jude 1:6-7; Eze. 28:11-17)
(5) Result: eternal damnation in the lake of fire (Rev. 20:10; Mat. 25:41, 25:46)
5. Judgment of believers’ works (Rom. 14:10; 1Cor. 5:10-11; 2Cor. 3:11-15)
6. Judgment of the living nations at the second coming (Mat. 25:31-46)
7. Judgment of the wicked dead (Rev. 20:11-15; Acts 17:21; Rom. 2:16)
(1) Subjects: The wicked dead (Rev. 20:5-6, 20:12-15) who are not judged at the judgment of the nations 1,000 years before (Mat. 13:30, 13:39-50; 24:51; 25:3-46; Rev. 14:9-11; 19:20). These include all wicked people from Adam to end of Millennium.
(2) Time:
(A) End of the Millennium (Rev. 20:7-15)
(B) When heavens and earth are renovated by fire (Rev. 20:11; 2Pet. 3:7-13; Heb. 1:10-12; 12:25-28; Rom. 1:21-23)
(3) Place: at the great white throne (Rev. 20:11; Psm. 9:7-8). The throne is literal and the white indicates absolute righteousness and justice of the judgment (Psm. 45:6-7; 96:10-13; John 7:24; Acts 17:31; 2Tim. 4:8), just as white robes indicate the righteousness of the saints (Rev. 19:8)
(4) Basis:
(A) Law of conscience (Rom. 2:12-16)
(B) Law of memory (Luke 16:25)
(c) Law of Moses (Rom. 2:12-16)
(D) Law of character (Heb. 3:8-10; Eph. 4:19)
(E) Gospel (Rom. 2:12-16)
(F) Records of personal acts (Mat. 12:36; Luke 12:2-9; John 3:18; Rev. 20:12)
(G) The book of life (Rev. 3:5; 13:8; 17:8; 20:12, 20:15; 21:27; 22:18-19; Exo. 32:32-33; Psm. 69:28; Dan. 12:1; Luke 10:20; Phlp. 4:3)
(H) The Word of God (John 12:48)
(5) Judges:
(A) God the Father (Rev. 20:12; Heb. 12:23-24; 13:4; Rev. 6:10; Rom. 2:12-16)
(B) God the son (John 5:19-27; Acts 10:42; 2Tim. 4:8; Rev. 19:11). God will judge by Jesus Christ. The Father will decree, the son will execute (Acts 10:42; 17:31; Rom. 2:16).
(6) Nature: It will not be a spiritual, invisible, endless process but a definite, literal, visible, and personal trial in God’s court similar to a trial on earth (Rev. 20:11-15; Psm. 9:8; Mat. 7:2, 7:21; Acts 17:31; Rom. 2:12-16; Heb. 9:27)
(7) Universality:
(A) The sea gave up the dead in it. This could only refer to bodies, for souls and spirits of the wicked dead do not remain in the sea at physical death. They go to hell and await the resurrection of their bodies (Rev. 20:13; Luke 16:19-31; Isa. 14:9).
(B) Death gave up the dead that are in it. This could only refer to bodies, for the body only dies at physical death (Jas. 2:26). Souls are dead in trespasses and in sins while yet in the body (Mat. 8:22; Eph. 2:1-9; 1Tim. 5:6). Physical death only, therefore, could be the reference
(C) Hades delivered up the souls that are in it (Rev. 20:13). Souls and not the bodies of the wicked go to Hades (Luke 16:19-31)
(8) Purpose:
(A) To give every man a fair trial before his eternal punishment (Acts 17:31; Psm. 9:8)
(B) To judge the secrets of people (Rom. 2:16)
(C) To judge idle words (Mat. 12:36)
(D) To judge all the works, thoughts, actions, and sins of man (1Tim. 5:24; 1Pet. 1:17; Rev. 20:12-13; 22:12; Rom. 2:5-6, 2:12-16)
(E) To mete out degrees of punishment according to deeds (Mat. 7:2; 10:15; 11:22-24; 12:41-45; 23:12-14, 23:33; Mar. 6:11; Luke 10:14; 11:31-32; Rev. 20:11-15; 22:12)
(9) Length: time in judging all the wicked is not known, but the length of the sentence for all will be eternal (Mat. 5:29-30; 10:28; 13:42-50; 18:9; 23:15, 23:33; 24:51; 25:41, 25:46; Mar. 9:42-48; Luke 12:5; Heb. 6:2; 10:26-31; Rev. 2:11; 14:9-11; 19:20; 20:10-15; 21:8; 22:15; Isa. 66:22-24)
(10) Results: all in death and hell sent to the lake of fire (Rev. 20:14-15)
heaven fled away... Greek: pheugo, to flee. Translated "flee" 28 times (Mat. 3:7; 10:23; John 10:5; etc.) and "escape" (Heb. 11:34; 12:25). That it is used in a figurative sense here and in Rev. 12:6; 16:20 is clear. If it were literal, the heavens and islands would not be in existence at this time, for twice they flee in the tribulation (Rev. 6:14; 16:20). They will never pass out of existence for they are eternal (Psm. 72:8-10, 72:17; 78:69; 89:36; 97:1-6; 104:5; Ecc. 1:4). The reference is to the shaking of the heavens and the earth as if they were passing away (Psm. 18:7; 60:2; 68:8; Isa. 44:23; 54:10; 55:12; 64:1-3)

The judgment of the great white throne (Rev. 20:11-15)

great white throne... Nearly 50 times in Revelation there is the mention of a throne. This is a judgment throne, elevated, pure, and holy. God sits on it as judge (compare Rev. 4:2-3, 9; 5:1, 7, 13; 6:16; 7:10, 15), in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ (see Rev. 21:5-6; John 5:22-29; Acts 17:31).
This is judgment day. Now John describes the terrifying scene set before him. He sees the Judge who is seated on His throne of Judgment and all of the accused standing before Him. The verdicts handed down from this throne will be equitable, righteous and just.
the earth and... John saw the contaminated universe go out of existence. Peter described this moment (in 2 Peter 3:10-13. The universe is “uncreated”, going into non-existence (compare Matt. 24:35.
We also remember (Ecclesiastes 12:14), which promises, "God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil". As well as (Romans 2:5-6), where Paul speaks of the day of God's wrath "when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God will give to each person according to what he has done". It is a fearful thing even to imagine standing before God "from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away", and have nothing but your own wicked works to show for the time on earth the Almighty had given you. On that day, the words of Paul the apostle will come true: "Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God" (Rom. 3:19). The final word of course, will be God's.
This vision follows those of the Second Coming, and those of the Millennium, immediately preceding that of the new heaven and new earth.
The use for the earth is over. The earth, heaven, and everything in them are under control of God, and if He tells them go they will have to. This is an amazing, incredible statement that is describing the un-creation of the universe. The earth was reshaped by the tribulation judgments, restored during the millennial kingdom, now God will create a new heaven and a new earth as it states (in 2 Peter 3).
2 Peter 3:13 "Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness"

The Resurrection And Judgment Of The Wicked Dead (Rev. 20:11-13)

The final five verses of Rev. 20:1-15 introduce the judgment at the end of human history and the beginning of the eternal state. John wrote, I saw a great white throne. The events here described clearly follow the thousand years of Rev. 20:1-6. The great white throne apparently differs from the throne mentioned more than 30 times in Revelation beginning with Rev. 4:2. It apparently is located neither in heaven nor earth but in space, as suggested by the statement, Earth and sky fled from His presence, and there was no place for them. It is not indicated who sits on this throne, but probably it is Christ Himself as in Rev. 3:21 (cf. Mat. 19:28; 25:31; John 5:22; 2Cor. 5:10 — though the throne in these references is not necessarily the same throne as in Rev. 20:11). While Christ is now seated on the throne in heaven and will be seated on the Davidic throne on earth in the Millennium (Mat. 25:31), this white throne judgment is a special situation.
The question has been raised as to whether the earth and the starry heavens as they are today will be destroyed at this point in the future or will be simply restored to a new state of purity. Many references in the Bible suggest that the earth and the heavens, as now known, will be destroyed (cf. Mat. 24:35; Mar. 13:31; Luke 16:17; 21:33; 2Pet. 3:10-13). This is confirmed by the opening statement of Rev. 21:1-27, “the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.”

The present universe was created like a gigantic clock which is running down, and if left to itself, would ultimately come to a state of complete inactivity. Inasmuch as God created the universe and set it in motion for the purpose of enacting the drama of sin and redemption, it would seem proper to begin anew with a new heaven and a new earth suitable for His eternal purpose and built on a different principle. The new heaven and new earth described in Rev. 21:1-27 has no similarity to the present earth and heaven.
