My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 21:6

My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 21:6

Before Jesus was crucified He told the disciples to watch and pray, something so simple, but they let their physical bodies take over and they fell back asleep. In these last hours of time you need to hear His voice. When He tells you something, it is very important, but most ignore my voice or just discuss it and go on with what they were doing. You will see many things start to happen shortly and if you do not hear and obey His voice,... it will mean death for some of you....Jesus has only your best interest in mind. Christ knows you heart, and if you are truly His you will hear His voice. He awakes many of you at 3am on the dot, but most will roll over and go back to sleep. There are a few who will get up and pray. Your day is filled with so many things and Jesus is the last thing many of you give your time to. But Christ needs to talk to you,... to fellowship with you and only when you are still and quite (3am) can you hear Him,... the rest of your day is so busy you do not have time for Him,... but you need to make time, for time is short and the Lord has instructions for you.

Revelation 21

The New Heaven and the New Earth

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. Rev. 21:6

Alpha and Omega... The first words of Jesus to John personally identify him with the "I AM" of Scripture, for He calls Himself the "Alpha and Omega." These are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. The title signifies, in the language of communication, the completeness with which God revealed Himself to mankind through Christ. This is nothing less than an official affirmation by Jesus of His personal deity. No ordinary human would ever say of himself, "I am the first and last."
We see here that God the Father, God the Word, and God the Holy Spirit are all three eternal. They each have no beginning and no end. Their Spirit is one. Their embodiments are three.
Almighty indicates the power of the Godhead as being unlimited and omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient. There is no other power. This word indicates power beyond human imagination. Jesus is equal to the Father and the Holy Spirit. All three are the Spirit of God. They have separate personalities. This is Jesus speaking when He says "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending". It is red in my Bible indicating Jesus' own spoken words. This leaves no doubt who He is.

It is done... Twelve-fold Plan of God Completed:

1. Sinful career of immediate heavens and earth ended (Rev. 21:3-7; 22:3)
2. Renovation of heavens and earth (2Pet. 3:5-13; Heb. 1:10-12; 12:25-28)
3. "All things" made new (Rev. 21:5)
4. All rebels put down (1Cor. 15:24-28)
5. Man purged of all possibility of rebellion (Rev. 21:3-8; Eph. 1:10; 2:7; 3:11)
6. The curse removed (Rev. 21:3-8; 22:3; 1Cor. 15:24-28)
7. Earth turned back to God (Acts 3:21-22; 1Cor. 15:24-28; Eph. 1:10; Isa. 66:22-24)
8. Rebels judged and confined to hell (Rev. 20:11-15; Mat. 25:41, 25:46; Isa. 66:22-24)
9. God recognized again as Supreme Ruler of the universe as before rebellion (Rev. 21:3-8; 1Cor. 5:24-28; Eph. 1:10; 3:11)
10. God’s original plans for free will and the universe realized (Eph. 3:9-11)
11. God’s form of government and His own being vindicated before all free will in the universe (Eph. 3:9-11; 2Pet. 3:9)
12. God’s throne and headquarters moved from the third heaven and established on earth (Rev. 21:3-22:5)
These words mark the end of redemptive history. This is a statement (Gr. gegonan) of divine finality. It represents God's promise that this new state will be forever. Alpha and Omega is the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. Hence, this phrase represents the sum of all things. In (Rev. 1:11; 22:12-13), it is used of Christ. Here it is used of God the Father ("He that sat on the throne"), indicating the deity of both the Father and the Son.
Just as Jesus said on the cross "It is finished". You see, Jesus is the way to get to the water of life. In fact, He is the water. He is life. He who hungers and thirst after righteousness shall be filled. There is nothing before Him and nothing after Him.
him that is... Heaven belongs to those who, knowing their souls are parched by sin, have earnestly sought the satisfaction of salvation and eternal life (compare Psalm 42:1-2; Isa. 55:1-2; John 7:37-38).
A citizen of heaven is described as one who "thirsts", signifying those who recognize their desperate spiritual need, "hunger and thirst for righteousness" (Matt. 5:6).
water of life... (compare 7:17; 22:1, 17). The lasting spiritual water of which Jesus spoke (John 4:13-14; 7:37-38; compare Isa. 55:1-2).

The One bringing about the change is Christ, who calls Himself the Alpha and the Omega (cf. Rev. 1:8; 22:13), the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet, interpreted by the phrase the Beginning and the End.
Those who are thirsty are promised that they will be able to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. Apparently this refers not to physical thirst but to a desire for spiritual blessings.
