Nebuchadnezzar's
Second Dream
I
saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and
the visions of my head troubled me. Dan. 4:5
saw
a dream... This was the
second dream of prophetic events. Both times he was troubled and
demanded his wise men to reveal the interpretation (Dan. 2:2-16;
4:5-7). Both times all failed but Daniel.
made
me afraid... This dream, like the one years before, terrified the
king (cf. Dan. 2:1, 2:3). Though contented and prosperous, he was
afraid.
