My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 22:10

My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 22:10

Before Jesus was crucified He told the disciples to watch and pray, something so simple, but they let their physical bodies take over and they fell back asleep. In these last hours of time you need to hear His voice. When He tells you something, it is very important, but most ignore my voice or just discuss it and go on with what they were doing. You will see many things start to happen shortly and if you do not hear and obey His voice,... it will mean death for some of you....Jesus has only your best interest in mind. Christ knows you heart, and if you are truly His you will hear His voice. He awakes many of you at 3am on the dot, but most will roll over and go back to sleep. There are a few who will get up and pray. Your day is filled with so many things and Jesus is the last thing many of you give your time to. But Christ needs to talk to you,... to fellowship with you and only when you are still and quite (3am) can you hear Him,... the rest of your day is so busy you do not have time for Him,... but you need to make time, for time is short and the Lord has instructions for you.

Revelation 22

The Last Instructions to “His Servants”

And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. Rev. 22:10

Seal not the... These truths were to be understood and kept by all, hence they are not hidden truths. They are simple and clear to all who will believe them, but hidden from those who refuse to believe (2Cor. 4:4).

for the time... Here again emphasis is put on the fact of the immediate fulfillment of these events which were to happen in consecutive order from John’s day into eternity. First, the things of the churches up to the rapture (Rev. 1-3). Second, events between the rapture and the second coming (Rev. 4-19). Third, events of the Millennium and the New Earth forever (Rev. 20-22).

Previous prophecies were sealed up (Dan. 8:26; 12:4-10). These prophecies are to be proclaimed so they can produce obedience and worship.

The command not to seal this prophetic message is quite different than what the Lord told Daniel;

Dan 12:4 "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end".

This refers to immanency, which means that the end is next.

The reason for the difference in the instructions is simply stated, "the time is at hand." Until the death and resurrection of Christ, the time for this prophecy had not come. Since Jesus already opened the seven seals prophetically (Rev. chapters 5 and 6), to reveal the future, it is only appropriate that the entire book remain open for us to read as well.

In contrast with Daniel, who was told to "seal" up his book of prophecy (since the end was still in the distant future), but here John is told to leave his book open (Seal not). The Messiah had come, His second coming is imminent, and thus now the time is at hand.

The reason for the difference in the instructions is that one lived after the time of Christ's crucifixion, the other before. In John's day, it was possible to see the unfolding of the events prophesied; in Daniel's day they were a long way off.

The Command To Proclaim The Prophecy Of The Book (Rev. 22:10-11)

Daniel was told that his prophecies would be “sealed until the time of the end” (Dan. 12:9). But John was told not to seal up the words of these prophecies. Again it should be emphasized that the viewpoint of some scholars that the Book of Revelation is an impenetrable puzzle is expressly contradicted by this and other passages. Revelation, both via its plain statements and its symbols, is designed to reveal facts and events relating to the second coming of Christ.
