My Sheep Hear My Voice- Rev. 22:3
Before Jesus was crucified He told the disciples to watch and pray, something so simple, but they let their physical bodies take over and they fell back asleep. In these last hours of time you need to hear His voice. When He tells you something, it is very important, but most ignore my voice or just discuss it and go on with what they were doing. You will see many things start to happen shortly and if you do not hear and obey His voice,... it will mean death for some of you....Jesus has only your best interest in mind. Christ knows you heart, and if you are truly His you will hear His voice. He awakes many of you at 3am on the dot, but most will roll over and go back to sleep. There are a few who will get up and pray. Your day is filled with so many things and Jesus is the last thing many of you give your time to. But Christ needs to talk to you,... to fellowship with you and only when you are still and quite (3am) can you hear Him,... the rest of your day is so busy you do not have time for Him,... but you need to make time, for time is short and the Lord has instructions for you.
Revelation 22
The Rulers of the New Jerusalem
And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: Rev. 22:3
no more curse... There will be no more of the curse that came as a result of Lucifer and Adam’s rebellion. Conditions as before will prevail eternally and things will continue as if the curse had never been. All rebels will be confined to the lake of fire as an eternal monument of God’s wrath on sin and as a warning to coming generations in all eternity that sin does not pay. The New Heaven and New Earth and the new peoples will be the same ones we have today only in a new state. All things will be made new, not new things will be made to take the place of the old (Rev. 21:5; 22:3). The curse on humanity and the earth because of Adam and Eve’s disobedience (Gen. 3:16-19), will be finished. God will never have to judge sin again, since it will never exist in the new heaven and new earth.
servants shall serve... The servants will be the faithful angels, redeemed people, and all other creatures that have not rebelled or that have been redeemed from all possibility of rebellion in all eternity (Eph. 1:10; 1Cor. 15:24-28). God's saints will serve him (Rev. 7:15), and reign with Him forever (Dan 7:18-27).
The picture of eternal life in these verses indicates that we will be busy serving God for all eternity. We will both serve Him (verse 3), and reign with Him (verse 5). Since He is an infinite God, we can be sure He will have infinite things for us to do as we reign there forever. The phrase, "they shall see his face" means that, as believers, we will be granted an audience with the King on a regular basis.
Here we see the "throne of God" and on his right hand is "the Lamb". These "servants" that shall serve him are us. We Christians have been bought and paid for with the blood of the Lamb. We will be with the Lamb and the Father, but we will not be their equal. We will be their servants.
The one associated with the curse, the old serpent, has been thrown into the lake of fire. The curse of the land is gone. God would not be present here if there was anything cursed left.
The effects of the post-Edenic curse will be totally gone forever. There will be no more curse.
The Throne Of God (Rev. 22:3-4)
As if to remind the reader that healing as such is not necessary, John added, No longer will there be any curse. As the curse of Adam’s sin led to illness requiring healing and death, so in the eternal state there will be no curse; therefore no healing of illness is necessary.
As mentioned earlier, God and the Lamb are in the new city (Rev. 21:22-23; 22:1). The New Jerusalem will be the temple of God (Rev. 21:22), and the throne of God will also be in it. Then John wrote, His servants will serve Him. The highest joy and privilege of the saints in eternity will be to serve their blessed Lord, even though it is true that they will also reign with Him (2Tim. 2:12; Rev. 5:10; 20:4-6).
