Nebuchadnezzar's
Second Dream
Then
came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the
soothsayers: and I told the dream before them; but they did not make
known unto me the interpretation thereof. Dan. 4:7
Then
came in... Though all the wise men of Babylon had been discredited
previously because of their inability to interpret the king’s first
dream (Dan. 2:10-12), counselors had been retained by the king.

In the first dream these same wise men promised to give the
interpretation if he would only tell them the dream. Here he told the
dream and they still failed.
