Daniel Chapter 4 Vs. 8

Nebuchadnezzar's Second Dream

But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods: and before him I told the dream, saying, Dan. 4:8

at last Daniel... When all the magicians, astrologers, soothsayers, and Chaldeans had proved their powerlessness to interpret the dream. The word finally (at last) suggests that some time passed before Daniel went into the king’s presence. Obviously Daniel was not among the wise men who had first been summoned to interpret the dream (Dan. 4:6).

Daniel made known the true interpretation in one hour (Dan. 4:6, 4:19).

in whom is... The Holy Spirit was in Daniel and this is the way the heathen king expressed the fact (Dan. 4:8, 4:9, 4:18; 5:11, 5:14).

holy gods... Aramaic: ’Elahiyn, Gods. A plural noun equal to Hebrew: ’Elohiym used 2,347 times in the Bible of the true God, indicating plurality this many times even though often translated in the singular. ’Elohiym is translated "gods" 216 times but should have been translated "Gods" all 2,347 times when used of the true God.
